A week ago my friend, ~ShiverMeTembers and her sister went to see the new Indiana Jones movie here in town. They got out of the movie and out to the parking lot. They heard the meowing from across the lot. They found a kitten at the Hardee’s, in a bush. They had to coax him out with food. He seem to be well fed and very friendly, it was apparent he had not been there more then a day or two. They appropriately named him, Indy. Here is a picture of him [link] .

Well, my mom brought home a staving kitten on Thursday. She was at the church when the kitten was found and decided to bring the little one home. Its a girl and this is what she looks like [link] Mom called my sister and I and said she’d found a franticly hungry kitten and told us to buy some canned food, so we did. When Karen and I got home mom was showing the kitten to Victory.When I picked Victory up she started to growl and hiss, needless to say she is extremely displeased with the little interloper. Its really amusing to watch Victory react this way, she has never been so pissed off in her life. They have had several encounters since then and each time it seems to get better and better. One encounter was in mom and dad bedroom. Mom, Karen and I were sitting on the bed, the kitten was on the floor and Victory was slowly and carefully walking up to the kitten. Victory got close enough to touch noses with the kitten. Then she growled and the kitten laid down like “don’t hurt me”. Victory then turn her back on the kitten and walked away calmly. The kitten was also given a bath because she was dirty and she looked ten times better after that. Our friends came over to see and pet her. Karen and I joke with them the we couldn’t be out done, so we rescued a staring kitten. We took the kitten to the vet yesterday for a check up, she got treated for ear mites, was given two vaccines and checked for feline leukemia. She got a clean bill of health. At the vet while we were waiting, there was a lady who had a back and white kitten that looked a lot like Victory. The lady said the he was a stray that had wondered in to her yard the day before, she had named him Chance. So that three lost kittens who have found home, it’s really weird because none of them look like they came from the same litter. Anyway we still thinking about a name for the little scamp. My sister and I have come up with Cookie, Comet, Phantom, and Pixel so far. Mom and Dad have some too, but I can’t think of them right now.

She likes walking on keyboards, btw and yes, I took all three pictures.

Edit: She stepped on my keyboard and submitted this before I was done. So cute.

Edit 2: The kitten has a name! Her name is Pixel!
